Junior Team Trials 2026/27 – Book Your Free Place
Great Yarmouth Basketball Club is now taking bookings for our 2026/27 Junior Team Trials, taking place on Saturday 4 July at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.
The trials are free to attend and are open to players in School Years 5–13 who are interested in joining one of our junior basketball teams for next season.
Whether you are already part of the club, have played elsewhere, or are looking to take the next step from open sessions into team basketball, this is your opportunity to come along, meet the coaches and show us what you can do.
Trial Schedule
U12 – School Years 5–7
9:30am – 11:30am
U14 – School Years 8–9
11:00am – 1:00pm
U16 – School Years 10–11
12:30pm – 2:30pm
U18 – School Years 11–13
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Players should attend the session that best matches their school year for the 2026/27 season.
What are we looking for?
Our trials are not just about current ability. Coaches will also be looking at attitude, effort, coachability, commitment and how players respond within a team environment.
Great Yarmouth Basketball Club offers both development and performance team pathways, so the aim is to place players in the right environment for their stage of development.
How to book
All players must book their free trial place in advance through Coacha.
Existing members can log in and book through their Coacha account. New players will need to register first before booking.
