SUMMER BREAK & 2026/27 UPDATE
The club is currently on our annual exam-period break. Sessions resume from Monday 29 June.
Men’s basketball will run weekly on Tuesday evenings, with 2026/27 team fees and league details confirmed before the new season.
MEN’S BASKETBALL AT GYBC
Open to players aged 15+ who want a regular run, quality basketball and the option to compete for the club.
For some players it’s about senior league basketball. For others it’s about fitness, fun, staying sharp and playing in a good environment.
OPEN SESSION OR LEAGUE TEAM?
OPEN SESSIONS / PAYG
Anyone aged 15+ is welcome to attend weekly Men’s sessions, subject to booking. Individual sessions can be booked on a pay-as-you-go basis through Coacha.
Best for: players who want regular basketball, fitness, game time and a good competitive run without committing to league fixtures.
LEAGUE TEAM
Selected players represent Great Yarmouth Basketball Club in Norfolk League fixtures and pay monthly team fees once selected.
Selection is based on ability, commitment, attitude, availability and how well players fit the team environment.
All home fixtures are played at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, and recorded using our Veo sports camera, providing an opportunity for video review and analysis by team members.
Best for: players who want to play competitive local league fixtures.

HOW TO JOIN
Book a Tuesday session through Coacha. League team trials are held in July.
Players can also attend during the season and may be invited into the team if spaces are available and they show the right level of ability, commitment, attitude and reliability.

PAYG SESSIONS
Individual Men’s sessions can be booked through Coacha on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Additionally, your first session at the club is always free.
TEAM FEES
League team players pay monthly fees once selected. Monthly fees are collected by Direct Debit through Coacha.
2026/27 fees will be confirmed before the season starts.
BE MEMBERSHIP
Players involved in league fixtures will need Basketball England Participant Membership for insurance and eligibility.
