Tickets are now available for the Great Yarmouth Basketball Club End of Season Awards Evening 2026.
The Awards Evening is one of the highlights of the club calendar and gives us the chance to bring the whole GYB community together to celebrate another fantastic season of basketball.
Whether you have played throughout the season, joined us more recently, supported from the sidelines, helped behind the scenes, or simply been part of the wider club community, we would love you to join us.

Event Details
Date: Friday 12th June 2026
Venue: East Norfolk Sixth Form College
Arrival: From 6:00pm
Awards Start: 6:45pm
Finish: Approximately 10:00pm
What to Expect
The evening will include a wide range of awards across our age groups and teams, recognising performance, progress, attitude, effort, teamwork, defence, shooting, scoring, coachability, commitment and contribution to the club.
Awards will include categories such as Most Improved Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, ACE Awards, BEAST Awards, and our major club awards, including Coach of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Club Member of the Year and Player of the Year, amongst many others.
It’s an opportunity to celebrate not just individual achievements, but the effort, commitment and community spirit that make Great Yarmouth Basketball Club what it is.

There are two ticket options:
Player / Club Member Ticket – £14
Parent / Spectator / Supporter Ticket – £18
Tickets include entry to the awards evening and a hot meal. When booking, please select your meal choice from the options available.
If you require a vegan or gluten-free meal, please select the Vegan / Gluten-Free option when booking and we will contact you to confirm the details.
Food
We know the food was disappointing last year, and the college are fully aware of that too.
This year, catering staff will be preparing hot food for the evening, everyone will select their main meal in advance, and there will be plenty of food available.
Water and squash will be available on tables, with soft drinks and hot drinks available to purchase at the venue.
Children Aged 5 and Under
Children aged 5 and under can attend free of charge if they do not require a meal.
