WHO WE ARE
Great Yarmouth Basketball Club is a volunteer-led, non-profit community basketball club based at East Norfolk Sixth Form College in Gorleston-on-Sea.
We provide club basketball from School Year 4 upwards, including Development sessions and teams, Performance Teams, U18 basketball, Men’s basketball and school holiday camps.
The club also works closely with Coastal Ballers and East Norfolk Sixth Form College to provide connected local opportunities from a child’s first experience of basketball through to college and senior basketball.

SESSIONS
PAYG Development sessions and club basketball from School Year 4 upwards, alongside U18 and Men’s opportunities.
JUNIOR TEAMS
Development and Performance team basketball for young players who are ready to train, improve and represent Great Yarmouth Basketball Club.
ACADEMY
The college basketball programme for students aged 16–19, run by East Norfolk Sixth Form College and delivered in partnership with GYBC.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Training and competitive basketball for senior players, including suitable players aged 15+.
CONNECTED BASKETBALL OPPORTUNITIES
Great Yarmouth Basketball Club works alongside Coastal Ballers and East Norfolk Sixth Form College to help players access appropriate basketball opportunities as they grow.
Players can join at different points and do not have to follow every stage. The aim is to help each person enjoy basketball in the environment that is right for them.

The modern club is part of a much wider local basketball story, shaped by generations of players, coaches, volunteers, schools and community programmes across Great Yarmouth and East Norfolk.
We are currently developing dedicated Club History and Club Legends pages to recognise the people, teams and moments that helped build basketball locally.
VOLUNTEER-LED CLUB
Great Yarmouth Basketball Club is run by its members, for its members. Day-to-day decisions are led by the elected club committee, with members able to contribute through the AGM and club discussions.
The club is registered and affiliated with Basketball England, with a focus on safe, organised and sustainable basketball provision.
