WHAT IS COASTAL BALLERS?
Basketball made fun.
Coastal Ballers Basketball is a beginner-friendly programme operated by East Norfolk Sixth Form College, giving children in School Years 2–6 the opportunity to discover basketball in a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Every session combines exciting games with simple basketball activities, helping children build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy being active alongside friends.
Although Coastal Ballers is a separate programme, sessions are delivered by experienced basketball coaches connected with Great Yarmouth Basketball Club, creating a clear pathway for children who want to continue playing as they grow older.

Looking for ENergize Basketball?
If your child attended the previous ENergize Basketball sessions at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, Coastal Ballers Basketball is the new home for those sessions.
While it's a separate programme, sessions continue to be delivered by experienced basketball coaches connected with Great Yarmouth Basketball Club, providing the same fun, welcoming atmosphere alongside an even clearer pathway into community basketball.
WHERE CAN COASTAL BALLERS LEAD?
A pathway for every player.
Many children will simply enjoy coming along each week to play basketball with friends, and that's absolutely fine.
For those who discover a passion for the sport, Coastal Ballers is also the first step on a wider basketball journey.
As children become older and more confident, they may choose to progress into Great Yarmouth Basketball Club's Development Programme, where they'll continue improving alongside players of a similar age and ability.
Some players may eventually move into competitive team basketball before progressing to the East Norfolk Basketball Academy, where talented student-athletes combine full-time education with high-quality coaching and competition.
