ABOUT THE TEAM

The Great Yarmouth men’s programme was relaunched in September 2021 with a single team competing in the Norfolk Basketball League.

The team finished the 2022-23 season as Men’s Division 2 Champions with a 9-1 record, winning promotion to Division 1 for the first time.

For the 2023-24 season we aim to run two teams;

• 1st Team - playing in the Norfolk Basketball League, Men’s Division 1

• 2nd Team - playing in the Norfolk Basketball League, Men’s Division 2

TRAINING

Weekly full-court team training on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 - 21:00 at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.

For the 2023-24 season training sessions will run from 5th Sep 2023 to 14th May 2024. There are no sessions over Xmas and bank holidays.

FIXTURES

All home fixtures are played at East Norfolk Sixth Form College on Friday evenings (19:50 tip).

MATCH FOOTAGE

For the 2023-24 season all home games will be recorded using our own Veo Sports Camera, providing an opportunity for video review and analysis for all team members.

TEAM TRYOUTS

Open tryouts for the Men’s 1st and 2nd teams are held in September at the start of each season. Available dates are listed on the upcoming course page opposite/below - click on a date to book.

During the season you can join the men’s team by attending a team practice on Tuesday evening. To book a session please visit the Book A Session page.
